Deuteronomy 7:20-22

²⁰ Moreover the Lord your God will send the hornet among them, until they who are left and hide themselves from you perish. ²¹ You must not be frightened of them, for the Lord your God is among you, a great and awesome God. ²² The Lord your God will drive out those nations before you, little by little. You will not be able to destroy them all at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.
